March was a month which really flew by me. The one week school holidays which was the kids had really threw my scheduling out of the window. I guess that I have the whole of April to recover before the kids go on a 4 week break starting end of May.

March was a bumper month of posting for me as we ran 15 giveaways here on Dominique’s Desk. I guess when I start doing new things here I go all out for it.

Without further ado here is a recap on what was happening here on Dominique’s Desk.

We started off the month celebrating Monkey boy’s 8th birthday at a Japanese restaurant. This year we are having a travel theme hence the Aeroplane cake.

It was time for some confession and I talked about ten things which I am not good at.

We had a great time bringing the kids out to East Coast Park on the weekends.

Tiger girl had a blast on the swing at Pasir Ris Park while the boys went bike riding . She loves having the wind tussle her hair.

Tiger girl started to self feed and is able to use kiddy utensils to feed herself during meal times now. It is less of a hassle for me as now I just need to monitor that she doesn’t make too big a mess during meal times. She is also being schooled into becoming a multilingual toddler.

I was alerted to the atrocities of the meat industries and learned about the junk in our beef.

I gave you ten reasons why you would want to be my kid. The 3 of them really have it GOOD.

It is great being a woman and I am sure many of you ladies will agree with me.

Meet Me on Monday- Party Season On

Last weekend the kids were invited to a birthday party. It has been awhile since they have attended one and were glad to be invited to my friends son’s 1st birthday bash. 1st birthdays are all so special. Even though the child is technically too young to remember or to enjoy his 1st birthday but it does bring back a lot of warm memories when one flips through the photo books to reminisce on the joyous occasion.

We only threw a first birthday party for Monkey boy when he turned one. For Doggie boy and Tiger girl we opted to bring them on a trip back to Hong Kong to celebrate with the relatives there instead. There wasn’t any fancy birthday party or programs specially chosen to mark their turning of age but we do have tons of photographs taken with relatives and friends who love them.

This April we are starting of the week with a whole week of giveaways here on Dominque’s Desk. I have already listed three giveaways- Eraselets, UGLEE pens and Therapon Skin Products. I will be adding more giveaways as the week progresses for all my beloved readers.

1. Did you prank, get pranked or ignore April Fool’s Day?

No I didn’t carry out any pranks or get pranked. It was a normal day for us.

2. What is the most unusual thing you have in your pantry or refrigerator right now?
It would be the Hello kitty and Thomas the train pasta which I bought to cook for the kids.

3. If you were in the “Miss America” (or another) talent competition, what would your talent be?
I have never taken part in such contests but I guess it would be singing, playing the violin or piano.
4. What is one thing you miss about being a kid?
Having everything taken care for you and not have to worry.

5. If you HAD to change your name, what would you change it to?
I can’t really think of any at the moment but I may add on R’s surname to mine.
