Apple and Chrysanthemum tea which is drunk with honey
I’ve always enjoyed drinking tea. I can’t remember when I started drinking tea but one of my all time favourites were chrysanthemum and earl grey. I could never drink coffee and fizzy drinks also do not appeal to me.
In the recent years I have been more adventurous and tried out many different teas. I’ve got to taste more high end tea and am indulging in TWG green teas which I simply love. Their Silvermoon tea is my favourite and everyone in the family loves this light green tea. I didn’t know that there is such an assortment of black/white and green teas available. There is more then 100 over selections
Other types of teas which I frequently drink are Ice Honey Green Tea which I normally have alongside my meals when we eat out at a Chinese restaurant. If that is not available or we are out for breakfast I would order Honey Lemon Tea instead.
I lived through the bubble tea craze where everyone went for pearls “starch balls” in their ice teas. I still don’t get the hype for bubble tea even though it is still quite popular here. I do see people queuing up for KOI bubble tea at all their outlets and have yet to try it to see why is it so “spectacular” at $4-$6 a cup.
There are many benefits of drinking tea, especially green tea since it is suppose to help in dieting. I’m going to grab myself another cup of tea now.
What is your favourite drink?
How often do you indulge in it?

hmm..then I think you will love it when you have a chance to travel to India, in Bangalore there is a bar special for tea. The name is Cha Bar. I am not sure but the name is probably derived from Chai (tea in India) or Ocha (tea in japanese). They serve various types of tea, it was so cozy with a little library and a book store adjacent to it so people can just hang out there, reading or just relaxing. I love that place
My favorite drink is Sosro tea. It’s similar to jasmine tea only more addictive. When you visit Indonesia again try it. People call it Teh Botol of tea bottle.

Hi Dominique ~~ Water is my favorite drink It used to be Diet Coke followed by regular coffee (Community Coffee brand). Then my electrolites when hay wire and the doc put me on four glasses of water a day, including cooked stuff. He said I was leaching my bod of things like sodium, potassium, and calcium in which I showed low in blood levels.
Also my red cell count and associated count had gone down below tolerance. I researched and found that cafine, especially from cola drinks and coffee were keeping the body from retaining the minerals and hindered red blood cell manufacture. Things are better now that I am way down on Diet Coke to half a can a day or so and down on coffee by switching to mostly decafe. Things are much better now! And I drink all the water I want.

@Jim,
thanks for stopping by this week. My hubby likes Diet coke too but is converting to tea drinking to. Water is good and excellent that you are reaching out for it instead of other drinks.

I was never much of a hot tea drinker even after living in South Africa for 3 years. However, when I did indulge, I would drink native South African tea — Rooibos. Mhmm…so good!
My favorite tea though is definitely sweet iced tea, which I occasionally treat myself to when I am out.

Hubby and I love tea too… we have a lot of selections at home (not necessarily high ends). Hubby’s fave is lady grey and mmine is english breakfast with a bit of soymilk. We also love infusion and one of our faves to drink (especially after meal) is mint tea. It helps in digestion and is very refreshing

I have to say, I’m not the biggest fan of tea but am known to drink a cup before bedtime, especially if I want to hold something warm in my hands. I had bubble tea once while I was in Portland because it looked so fun and I was NOT impressed with it. Hmm. I think I’m hardwired for coffee!

You and me, girl! My go-to drink is always honey green tea. I love my green tea… pretty much in any form.
Bubble tea. I’ve given this up for Lent… and so far I am surviving.
TWG. My favorite of theirs is Geisha Blossom. I love it so much that I splurged on a tin. I’ve tried a number of their tea and I like most of them, but there are a couple that I think is just so-so…

@Buckeroomama,
I haven’t tried their Geisha Bloom yet. I look out for it the next time I go down to the TWG shop to purchase new cans of tea. I haven’t touched bubble tea in ages it doesn’t appeal to me as it’s too sweet and rather fattening.

My favorite drinks are religiously: coffee, coke, wine. I indulge in it everyday.
I love chrysantimun tea, it is my favorite. Do you want my tea? I have a whole cabinet full, I am not into tea, but yet I receive them as gifts so often. Hopefully no more! LOL.

I like chai and other spice teas! I love Earl Grey. Coffee is my poison of choice, but in a pinch- tea will get me set!
