The hibiscus is one of the flowers that I love to photograph. I didn’t manage to take many pictures of hibiscuses when I was in Taiwan in April however during the recent trip in June I managed to see many in full bloom.
A warm orange bloom
It must have been hibiscus season as there were many in full bloom all over the theme park ( Lipao Land) that we visited.
Red Hibiscus
The red hibiscus is a common sight where I live however it was the first time that I saw one that huge at a close range.

It was really nice to see so many different blooms within the park. It was really great to be able to have visual and also emotional experiences when we were at a theme park.
The June holidays came and went and the kids are all now back in school. It’s finally back to our NORMAL routine and I’m able to have some ME TIME for myself.
We did some travelling in June as the whole family went to Taipei for a short vacation. Gao Mei Wetlands was the place that I visited back in April. This time the weather was much warmer and it was more pleasant walking on the walkway.

Male crabs fighting
The kids had lots of fun looking at the crabs while walking out to sea. They even were able to watch a crab fight!!
A duck swimming
Besides crabs the kids were able to see some ducks when we visited a Sunflower garden in Taoyuan. This one was gleefully moving around in the pond.
Sunflower with a bee
The kids were not really flowers and animals so we didn’t stay that long at the garden.
The boys playing bumper cars
Playing at a theme park was certainly more appealing to the kids. We had a great time at the Lipaoland Theme Park where we had an almost exclusive experience as there was no crowd and queues.
the whole family posing for a picture
Everyone had great fun as there were rides for all ages. There was even a water park within the premises so the kids had a fun 2 days at the theme park.
Me in my wedding dress and it still fits!!
On the 16th of June R and I celebrated our 14th Wedding Anniversary. We didn’t get to celebrate on the day itself but we did during the couple trip we had in April.
