Highlights of June 2015
The June holidays came and went and the kids are all now back in school. It’s finally back to our NORMAL routine and I’m able to have some ME TIME for myself.
We did some travelling in June as the whole family went to Taipei for a short vacation. Gao Mei Wetlands was the place that I visited back in April. This time the weather was much warmer and it was more pleasant walking on the walkway.
The kids had lots of fun looking at the crabs while walking out to sea. They even were able to watch a crab fight!!
Besides crabs the kids were able to see some ducks when we visited a Sunflower garden in Taoyuan. This one was gleefully moving around in the pond.
The kids were not really flowers and animals so we didn’t stay that long at the garden.
Playing at a theme park was certainly more appealing to the kids. We had a great time at the Lipaoland Theme Park where we had an almost exclusive experience as there was no crowd and queues.
Everyone had great fun as there were rides for all ages. There was even a water park within the premises so the kids had a fun 2 days at the theme park.
On the 16th of June R and I celebrated our 14th Wedding Anniversary. We didn’t get to celebrate on the day itself but we did during the couple trip we had in April.
Being Happy is a CHOICE. It is based on your perception of life and something which obtainable if that is what you want to achieve. Ones outlook of life and focusing on positive elements certainly does wonder for the body and soul.
It is possible to be a peaceful parent and cultivate a happy relationship between your children. The book ” Peaceful Parents, Happy Siblings highlighted the possibility to me and I will be adapting the techniques shared in that book on the kids.
Being prepared in case MERS comes to Singapore is what I am. With the AIR+ Smart Mask the kids and I are protected from this deadly virus and the haze.
How was the month of June for you?
