Highlights of March 2015
Waterfalls at Tao Yuan Hsien Valley
March was a really reflective month for me. It was the month where I did a mini assessment of how far I have come along in keeping to the resolutions that I’ve set in the beginning of the year.
I’ve managed to keep on track with most of my goals except for the one to spend more time on learning French and Japanese. I really need to set aside time to actively revise/ practice these languages or I will never get started on it!! 頑張って/ Bonne Chance
Red tulip
I’ve share more pictures of Tulips which I took in February and STILL have lots more photos of flowers yet to share here on this blog.
Dark maroon tulips
Don’t the tulips look lovely?
Waterfall at Shi Fen
Besides sharing pictures of tulips I also showcases what I captured when we visited the waterfall at Shi Fen in Taipei.
The kids and me
The kids had their 1 week term break and we had fun together. We watched two movies with friends – Shaun the Sheep and Ah Boys to Men 3 : Frogman. We also made a trip to the airport to view the exhibit that they had on New Zealand
The kids enjoyed themselves with the longer play time and more outings. It was more tiring for me as we were going out almost everyday and I didn’t really have much time for myself.

March was also a month that the blog train on Embracing Motherhood started. There are 25 other mummy bloggers on this train with me who will be sharing their stories of motherhood from March till April. I will be rounding up this blog train on the 6th April with my own sharing on motherhood. Do check back then to read about my journey.

I started a new series here on the blog this month called Bridging the gap. In this series I will be expanding on the changes that my kids face when they move from one level to another at the start of the new school year. ( P4 to P5, P2 to P3 and N2 to K1). I’ve talked about the GAP between P4 and P5 Chinese and will be moving on to identifying the GAPS in English, Maths and Science in subsequent posts in the series.

Poster on Life
Life certainly does have a lot of challenges that one needs to embrace. It is never easy but something that we do to survive. I shared about what challenges that I am currently facing and what I am doing to face them.

Super love the waterfall pic, how gorgeous! I always admire how you are so organised and find so much time to do everything! I wish I can find time to learn a third language too but that sounds very very hard for now. Haha. And I completely forgot all the Jap I learnt years ago! Well, one day, just one day. Haha. Thanks for sharing your highlights and for linking up with me!
