While viewing the Tulips at Tulipmania I came across these lovely roses. Most of them were in clusters and were in pots all around the flower dome.
Red rose
There were varying shades of red and pink roses and I took the opportunity to snap some picture of them while taking photos of the tulips.
Pink Rose
The last time which I saw roses was when we were at Everland Theme park in Korea. There was a rose exhibit back then at that theme park and a section was filled with many different varieties of roses.

Don’t they look lovely?

Last week I brought Monkey boy to the Tulipmania at the Flower Dome. I have been wanting to see the 20,000 Tulips that were imported for the display from Netherlands. The flowers really very colourful.
Monkey boy posing in an over-sized pair of clogs
We saw the trademark Holland wooden clogs and couldn’t resist to take a photo with it. I love the drawing on the shoes.
The “sea” of tulips.
There were many lovely tulips and they were of many different colours. The tulips filled up the entire basement of the Flower Dome.
A red bloom
One of the red blooms which I saw. I love how it looked in full bloom with the petals ruffled.
Yellow Tulips
I love the vibrant yellow of this tulip. It really does brighten up your day if one were given a bunch of these tulips on a special occasion.
Windmill among the tulips
Looking at the windmill reminded me so much about the time I had in Holland when I visited the country when I was a teenager. I’m hoping to be able to bring the kids there one day.
Mixed coloured bloom.
A lovely two coloured bloom. The light parts of the petals are accentuated by the dark pink giving it more volume and a better visual appeal.
Pink blooms
These pink blooms were very pleasant to the eyes. I wouldn’t mind having a bunch to put on my dining table at home.
