Foam Art and Food Styling

Stitch in a cup of Coffee
I’ve always been fascinated by Foam Art and loved seeing all the different designs in the coffee cup when R and I dine out. It certainly perks one up and brightens up the day being presented with a cute picture in a cup during breakfast.
I’m not a coffee drinker and would only order tea or juices to drink . R on the other hand does drink coffee and it is interesting to see what designs come with the breakfast set we order.
Foam art on a glass of Hot chocolate
It was interesting to see that it was possible to do Foam Art on other drinks like Hot chocolate. This design of a pop up fox with the word “HEY” at the bottom was really cute. The kids didn’t want to drink it as it would “spoil” the art.
Mini Beef Burgers
Food placement does wonders in enhancing the desirability of a dish. The way the food is arrange can either whet ones appetite or squash ones desire for the dish.
BBQ Ribs
This BBQ ribs looked visually appealing however the taste is much to be desired. It was rather hard and dry. Appearance was certainly fooling for this dish.
Are you into visually attractive foods
and drinks too?

Love foam art, I’ve attempted it at home a few times without any real success.

Super true Sis, I also love seeing foods presented in an artistic way. It definitely catches my attention and I find it super interesting. I myself tried doing food art at home and my kids love it!

I make my own foamy milk at home, but can’t make it last like this. How do they do it?? Or should I be asking what do they add to make it stay like this?

What cute foam art! I especially love the fox!

When I’m served with a cup of hot drink with foam art, I really can’t help but take a picture before consuming it. I think the creativity makes the drink more tasty and enjoyable.

I agree, I don’t want to drink it because it will spoil the foam art. 🙂

Oh, I love styling my ordinary meal and photograph them. Sometimes, they look so good that I can hide the fact that what I cooked did not taste as good as it look. Haha. I’d love to learn those coffee foam art.

I am definitely into food presented visually appealing. However, I would also try otherwise. I guess I’m just curious. 🙂
