Roses and Cactus
White Rose
Roses has always been one of my favourite flowers. I love the sweet smell it gives of and the ruffles in it’s petals are really appealing.
Pink rose
Having a mixture of both pink and white roses in a vase would certainly brighten up the house. It is a pity that roses are not long lasting and those that I do buy do not last more then a week at home.
A flower like cactus
I think I would be better of keeping cactus at home. At least I would not have to worry about it “dying” on me.
Another cactus I spotted at Garden at the Bay
They look evergreen and are of relatively low maintenance as compared to looking after flowering blooms.

All the photos are great! If you have pretty pots, then cacti will look good, I’m sure.

Some cacti in bloom look spectacular – just go for it! 🙂

They are beautiful. We don’t have many cactus plants around where I live.

Very beautiful shots. Many years ago I have a mini collection of cactus, I do find them very interesting.
Have a nice day

We have roses here in our garden, but no cacti. Maybe we should try growing one or two. 🙂

I don’t keep cactus at home due to fengshui reasons. 🙂

I love roses, too, especially soft pink ones. One of my favorite pink roses is Belinda’s Dream. My favorite yellow one is Graham Thomas.
A cactus can be a very beautiful plant. The ones that I see most often have red fruits and yellow flowers. They grow all over the place around here. Due to experience, I know that it is possible to kill a cactus. I did it. I didn’t mean to, but it happened. 🙂
Have a great week!

I love tulips and lilies (especially white ones). Both of which do not do much better than roses I have to say! I buy them from the wholesaler at Upp Thomson because it is loads cheaper there and my kiddo enjoys the cold room. 🙂 Have a blessed weekend Dom 🙂
