Fried Tofu and Chicken
Last weekend we went to a coffee shop at Alexandra for dinner. We ordered a few different dishes and here are some of my favourite. The picture above is of a Tofu basket which was filled with nuts, prawns and other vegetables. Traditionally it was made of yam and deep fried. This tofu version tastes much better and I don’t feel so “stuffed” after eating.
Deep fried chicken ( Buffalo wings) was really very tasty. I love the crispy exterior and the tender juicy flesh inside. I’m not sure what they use to season it but it is something which I hope to be able to replicate using the air fryer at home.
What have you been eating this week?

Buffalo wings! It looks good. I bought chicken neck (sooo cheap, so unhealthy but yummy) from the grocery . The goal was to eat the chicken skin. LOL

Wow a tofu basket sounds so much nicer than the usual yam ring.

I love fried chicken and tofu. We have here “tokwa’t baboy” or tofu and pork meat. And it goes well with congee.
