Egg and Egg Tarts on a Friday

Half boil egg
There are many different ways how egg can be cooked. When we go out for breakfast I love having half boiled eggs together with Kaya toast. It’s really tasty when eaten with dark soya sauce.
Egg tarts from a bakery at Joo Chiat
A few weeks ago we had egg tarts from a bakery for breakfast. It didn’t taste as nice as those egg tarts that we normally order when we go out for Dim Sum. We decided to create our own version of the egg tart as the boys are on holidays now.

The egg tarts were snapped up and eaten before I could take a proper photo of all the pieces that we made. I had to stop the kids from taking the last egg tart on the plate for the shot above.

I miss kaya toast. We don’t have it here in Dubai. I love egg tarts too. I had the best one in Macau. 🙂

I like egg tarts, too! But what we make usually is an entire egg pie. Yummy! By the way, I tagged you here: http://www.davaomommy.com/2013/06/old-school-blogging-davao-mommys-abcs.html
