Random Nature Shots at Gardens at the Bay
Wavy leaf plant
During the school holidays we finally had the chance to visit Garden at the Bay at Marina South. It has been open for more then a year but we waited until now to visit as we didn’t want to jostle with the opening crowds. During our visit there we didn’t go into the domes but toured the outdoor areas instead. The kids are not really into fauna and appreciating nature so we decided against entering the domes and paying the hefty entrance fees for it. Maybe one of these days I will visit the place on a photo walk with my photo buddies or with R instead.
fruits of an unknown plant
Not all the plant were labelled in the garden so I couldn’t really identify which palm this fruits were from.
Ixora in bloom
I saw many ixora plants at the garden. Love their pinkish red flowers.
White blooms
I saw this lovely white bloom. I like the yellow centre of the bloom as it accentuates the whole flower and gives it more depth.

My parents used to take us to the Botanical Gardens on Saturday afternoons for picnics. This was back when they allowed you to have picnics. We would usually go on a walk and seeing these pics brings back the nostalgia of some of those walks. Awesome pictures.
