Writer’s Workshop: Dear Santa
Dear Santa,
We won’t be having our Christmas Tree up this year. It has been an extremely busy month coupled with the fact that we won’t be at home to enjoy the tree on Christmas day. Even though the tree won’t be up but could I have some presents under the virtual tree instead?
To make it easier for you I have listed down some items I would like to see for me under my virtual tree.
- Spa Vouchers.
It would be great if I could have some spa vouchers to go for a massage to ease my aching muscles. We did go for an hour long massage when we were in Thailand but being able to go more frequently would certainly perk up my day.
- Shopping vouchers Shopping vouchers would be good too. I would like to revamp my current wardrobe and get some new additions. It would be great to get new clothes for the kids too.
- Travel vouchers I love visiting new places and with travel vouchers I would be able to save the hefty airfare involve in transporting the whole family out of Singapore to our chosen destination.
- Helper on demand
It would be so ideal if I could get a helper on demand to do stuff like pick up the kids, clean the house or just baby sit them so that I have more time to go for regular Zumba classes and really be able to get down to ideal weight faster.
What will you be hoping to get from Santa this year?
Any must get items on your list?

That’s an amazing virtual tree. We only have a tiny Christmas tree and the presents won’t fit. Thankfully, I am finally done with my family’s list. I’m still undecided on what I want though. I feel like all I want is more Christmas money to shop for Christmas gifts for others, even my hubby is complaining because he can’t think of what he should give me.
I like the helper on demand. Does your husband read your blog? Mine doesn’t.

@Mys,
My hubby subscribes to my blog and reads it on the go so every new post is shown in his facebook stream 🙂

All great things you’ve asked for! My tree still isn’t up yet, either. My children won’t be home, either, but I do think I’m going to put it up and string lights on it. It’s only a two-piece tree, so it’s easy as pie to put up. And I need something to put presents under 🙂
Just visiting today from Mama Kat’s 🙂

Love your list! I could make it my own practically! We have no tree this year and in reality at this point we probably won’t. I’d love to see under my tree be overwhelming with presents, but money is tight this year and well, you know. As a Mom I sacrifice alot for my kids! Following from Mama Kat’s!

Now that is a cheeky one! Have a great time away!

LOVE your virtual tree. Pretty genius and I bet it’s a breeze to pack it all up after the holidays 🙂 And that Helper on Demand? Please tell me if you get one. I might need to borrow 🙂

Can I borrow your list? I’d love to get spa, travel and shopping vouchers too! And maybe Santa can throw in a personal fitness trainer and healthy chef. hehe 🙂

You should surely have your Christmas tree up for all the world to see while you are at home, after all many people put their tree’s up early in December (I tend not to until the last minute though)

Hi Dominique ~~ Have a Merry Christmas and may your wish list be fulfilled by Santa or other.
There isn’t anythink special that I want or need for Christmas. I have all I need and have done all the things that I need to do.

I don’t have a great list. I usually neglect myself to the point of pathetic. I am all about the kids during the year. I have items like magazine subscriptions, and PJs, and things like that. I learn that when I make a Christmas list, I don’t get what is on the list anyways…it is very strange, but, I try to make it easy yet, people don’t want to take advantage of it! 🙂
