Writer’s Workshop: Heavenly Views
It’s summer all year round here in Singapore as it is located near the equator. I took so many lovely pictures of the view which we had while on holiday in Korea. You can say that I experienced many Heavenly views.
This was the starting point before we started the 118m climb up to the Seongsan llchulbong peak
Besides the view around and from the top of the peak another view which captivated me was from the window looking out of the aeroplane we were in while it was in motion.
You literally feel on the top of the world looking down from the clouds above. Everything looks so tiny below.
A lovely view of the bay where we took the ferry out for our submarine ride. You can see the Saeyeon- geo(bridge) in the background.
Have you seen any heavenly views lately?

I love the view from above the clouds! The only time I ever flew, I never looked out the window!

🙂 Hi Dominique ~~ It has been a while!!! I like your heavenly views a lot!!!
Yes, we have a couple of heavenly views:
1) As I looked at your airplane pictures I was thinking of the heavenly views the astronauts have had. One of our friends, an astronaut, took a picture over the Holy Land from space and gave us a copy. We will always treasure that one and had it framed.
2) Last week on July 4th we flew over New York City. In addition to the city lights we also got to see various fireworks displays all over the city. They were sooo very pretty.
..
BTW, I had to type this all over agan because I missed the Apple to click. I didn’t even see it. Now I have COPIED my comment in case there is another problem.

Beautiful pictures! How difficult was the climb?

@Dyanne,
My legs were aching for 3 days after climbing to the peak as R and I had to carry my 14kg 2yr old while we made out ascent and descend. It took us about 1/2 hr to climb up and down so I say the difficulty level wasn’t too extreme given the challenge we had climbing the steep steps with the girl. Some of the steps were too high for her so she had to be carried up.

What beautiful views. One of my favorite views is flying into Newark Airport and seeing the Statue Of Liberty. If the plane uses this one particular runway it flies right up the Hudson River. The site never fails to amaze me.
