Writer’s Workshop: Great time to plant a Bloom

A purple bloom I captured with my hand phone.
It’s the 2nd half of the year and there has been a lot of changes this month as the kids move into a new school term.
The boys have extra classes in school and I’m busy juggling their schedule, work and studies this semester. This month I’ve signed up for a Photo reading course to improve my learning ability. I hope with this new skill I will be able to read faster, retain the information that I need and use it when needed.
Now is the time to start ” sewing” new seeds before the year end harvest. Techniques that have worked well will be continued and those which didn’t work be adapted to increase it’s effectiveness.
In June I have been doing quite a bit of reading and came across these wonderful set of principles in one of the books I read.
10 Underlying Principles to follow
- We each have the ability to make decisions.
- You do have the ability to make a choice.
- Everything in your life is your personal responsibility.
- Feelings are your guiding light.
- Everything vibrates and either attracts similar vibrations or repels dissimilar vibrations.
- The more you do something, the more it becomes a habit.
- What you see around you is what you are thinking and feeling on the inside.
- It’s only true until it’s not.
- Reality is only a reality based upon your perception.
- When you live with the feeling of love, life is easier.
I feel that these are great principles to follow. Everything that we do affects our well-being and the way we live our lives.
Reflecting on them has made me understand myself better and I’m more at peace.
What have you learned this June?
Anything interesting to share?
