Why am I waiting?

Waiting for food
Time passes very slowly when one is hungry. A minute seems forever for a young kid. It can be really a test of patience to wait for your food to be served.
A hungry child is an impatient child and a bored child which can be up to mischief if she is not occupied during the wait before the food is served. Luckily she loves talking to us and her siblings and making up her own stories based on snippets from the stories that she has been listening to or show that she has watched on TV. She entertained us for a whole 15 minutes before happily gobbling down her food when it was served.

I had boys and they are impatient when very hungry. It’s like give me, give please! 🙂

My kids don’t look like that when they are hungry, they get irritable. I would rather have them bored.

Cuteness overload!!! It’s great to see that she’s not whining and running around though she’s bored.

When we are home they are always occupied in one way or another when I am preparing the meal. But, yes, when we eat out ( on that rare occasion) they are definitely impatient.

Gosh she is good to wait for so long…not sure if my kids would ever sit and wait that long for food!! Normally when my boys say “I’m Hungry” it usually means they are “Starving” 10 minutes before 🙂

I can’t for any more minutes for my food if I’m hungry let alone my kiddies. Glad you’re kids aren’t like that and I love to listen how kids tell story from something they previously watched. Its very CUTE!:)

Mine is more my husband. He’ll get bored and go grab his iPad, then it’s all downhill from there, so I don’t call them until the food’s on the table.

Oh yes! They get bored of waiting all the time! I think we live in in instant world, instant gratification. 🙁 Sometimes good, sometimes bad.

Yes, my 3-year old son is sometime impatient. So I need to distract him or else we will be in trouble, hehe.
