Highlights of November 2016
November was a really roller coaster month for me with lots of highs. You can say that I was on an extended adrenaline rush last month as I saw the fruits to the hard work that I have been putting in since the start of the year.
It was another reflective month for me as I pondered about the color of a person’s heart and how easy it is for one to stray from the right path and away from GOD.
Many a times we are so tempted to give up as the challenges get too overwhelming for us to handle. However looking at how far we have come so far it would be a waste just to give it all up because we think we can’t hang on anymore.
November was a month that the kids and I had more time to spend together as a family. We visited more places in and out of Singapore and had great fun exploring and soaking in the various experiences.
We were literally zooming around as we tried out the various activities that the kids were interested in.
It was celebration after celebration when Monkey boy’s PSLE results was released. The hard work that he has been putting in had paid off and now he is reaping the fruits of his labor. He has chosen the school which he is interested in entering and now am waiting for the result of that application.
As Monkey boy enters teen hood I’ve started reading up more about how teenagers are and I strongly recommend the book 1-2-3 Magic teens as it will give you a better insight to how teenagers think and behave.
It has been an extremely long time since I had a girls night out. Since the kids arrived it had been impossible to go out without them at night. However with some careful planning I manage to pull it off!!
