Cakes and other Sweet Treats

Oreo Cheesecake
Last week I had a girls afternoon out with Tiger girl and Grandma as the boys were at their friend’s house on a play date. It was time for us to spend time together without the boys around.

Strawberry Cake
Besides ice-cream Tiger girl likes eating Strawberry cake. This is the only cake that she will eat when we are out for tea.

Tiger girl and grandma
Taking photos with love ones is what Tiger girl loves to do best. Here is a picture of her and grandma.

Churrors
It was the first time that I tried Churrors. There are many places in Singapore selling this snacks since last year or so and I had yet to get around tasting it. I can say that I am quite impressed with its taste but it is something which I will not be eating on a regular basis.

Raspberry Soda
What are Churrors without a drink. This raspberry soda was the perfect addition to the side of Churrors. It complimented the snack perfectly.
What have you been eating lately?

Living in the S.F. Bay Area, churros are a staple. They are their own food group.

That strawberry cake does look pretty good. Lately we’ve been eating healthy snacks. I always have fresh apples and fruit in our fruit basket for the kids. My kids also love snacking on carrot sticks dipped in hummus. Have a great weekend!
