Cherry Blossoms in Taiwan
The Cherry blossom is one of the most beautiful flowers that I’ve seen sprouting on a tree. I would love to go to Japan during the Cherry blossom season but I do not have the funds as this moment. I guess that I would have to save up more before it could become a reality.
I’m lucky that I got to view the cherry blossoms when I was in Taiwan in Feburary this year. It was the first time that I visited a Cherry blossom grove and it was a really magical experience for me.
I was lucky to be able to spot this bee buzzing near the flower and capture it with my camera.
I’m not sure what bird this is but I spotted it flying toward the flower looking for nectar.
I managed to see 3 different varieties of Cherry blossoms. They were in white, light pink and dark pink.
Don’t they look lovely as a cluster of flowers on a tree. White has to be my 2nd favourite out of all the varieties that I saw.
I visited Taiwan a bit late as most of the blooms have already dropped as it was nearly the end of the Cherry Blossom season. If I was in Taipei a few weeks earlier I would have been able to see all the trees in full bloom. That would have certainly be awesome!!

I’ve been meaning to visit Japan too for cherry blossoms but no budget yet. I did not know that Taiwan has cherry blossoms too.

Ohh I would love to see cherry blossoms in bloom too, whether in Taiwan or Japan! I even asked the florist to mimic the effect of cherry blossoms at church for my wedding ceremony hehe. 🙂
