Writer’s Workshop: Undoubtedly Orange
ORANGE
Orange represents enthusiasm, fascination, happiness, creativity, determination, attraction, success, encouragement, and stimulation.
It is a color that is associated with joy, sunshine, and the tropics. We do get a lot of Orange daily living in Singapore. The sun shines brightly almost daily and the midday heat is something that I try to avoid as much as possible as you will be literally melting under it .
The warmth of the color Orange is like the overflowing love of a parent for a child. It is the color that represents the present stage of my life . A stage that is filled with happiness, determination and encouragement as I press on till the end of the school year.
It is the last leg, the final stretch as I assist the kids in preparing for their examinations. School will be out for the kids by mid next month and they will be having their finals at the end of this month.
Before too long it will be 6 long weeks of year end holidays for them before the new school term start in January 2015. There is a lot to look forward to as the kids can finally get a break from studying and can fully enjoy themselves doing the activities that I have planned for them.

Sun rays
I’ve been blessed with the overwhelming support that I get from my friends and R in all the projects that I am currently undertaking. It is like having the sun shining radiantly down on you as you carry out your daily chores. You feel at peace as you know that there is always someone there for you whenever you need him.
I have accountability partners in the areas of spiritual development, healthy eating, exercising which I am currently focusing on. With the support and encouragement that I receive I am hopeful that I will meet my goals in these areas.
I am sure that I will be able to become the person that I want to be and attain success.
What does Orange mean to you?

Undoubtedly orange means a lot to you. To us, it is a pretty color, a nice fruit, and the HORRIBLE University of Texas football team (even if they win, I would never root for them).
..
I think we should have clicked on the orange for this post, not the pineapple.

@Jim,
That would be good if Orange was an option in the captcha on the blog. Which football team are you rooting for? I don’t watch American football so I’m not in the know of who is leading at the moment. Thanks for stopping by this week.

I love orange and find it’s vibrancy to be strong. So I associate the color with strength.

Orange to me is warmth, joy and youth. Its something that is vibrant, full of life and intense. I never really cared much for orange but after this post, I think I’m gonna have to find me an orange shirt or anything orange.

Orange to me brings to mind my favorite Thanksgiving dessert: pumpkin pie. I love the house smell filled with pumpkin and cinammon. Thanks for sharing.
