Pink blooms at Garden at the Bay
Pink is one of my favourite colors. While at the flower dome at Garden at the Bay I managed to see many lovely pink flowers.
I found this flower rather unusual. It was the first time that I saw pokka dotted petals on a flower.
This is another pink and white bloom which I spotted. I love the coloring on the petal. It gives the flower some extra “texture”.
The hibiscus was another pink flower which I spotted. It is a rather large flower with a really pretty stamen in the center.

I love the pink and white of the first flower, and the hibiscus reminds me of home. We have so many of the where we live.

The top flowers, I have no idea what kind they are, but they are pretty! They are probably something that would not grow in my desert. As for that pink hibiscus – that is the prettiest color of hibiscus that I have ever seen. My mother has a very unusual variety that came with the house – George Washington. It’s a orange-pink shade.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but the first flowers are the Calachuchi, right? I don’t know what thye’re called in English, but we have plenty of them here! Very pretty!

Great photos of flowers. It’s also my first to see polka dotted petals. I like them ’cause I’m in love with plants.

The last time I went to Singapore, Garden at the Bay was being constructed and I heard from friends that it is a great place to visit if one plans to see various blooms! You tweaked your blog? It looks better now 🙂
