Writer’s Workshop: Oh..Not Done Yet

Bee in the middle of the flower

Bee in the middle of the flower

Every month I start off  setting my goals for the month and do a recap of what I have been doing with a Highlight of the previous month.  For the month of July and August I have set many tasks which I wish to get completed which unfortunately didn’t get done.  Like the bee on the flower above it has been an extremely busy month and things will only get more crazy  around here as the kids will be having their exams soon.

1. I have yet to start an exercise routine which really works for me.
Even though I do know that it is important to have regular exercise the only exercise that I am having so far is Zumba every Monday when R is in town and climbing up the stairs to our apartment. Now that the Wii has been repaired  I will be resuming Wii-Active twice/thrice weekly.

2. There are still many outstanding book reviews to be completed.
Even though I have been telling myself not to accept any new books to review since I haven’t completed those on hand but those offers which have been coming via e-mail this month have been too irresistible. The topics of the books on offer happen to be on the topics which I am currently researching on.

3. I have yet to complete the faith formation syllabus for the kids
Even though I had decided to start  formally introducing the kids to our faith there are still many issues and aspects of it which I have yet to discuss with R. I hope to have all the issues ironed out by the end of this year so we will definitely be  able  to execute our plan come 2014.

What is on your list which is not done yet?

Playing Doctor

My Little Doctor

My Little Doctor

Tiger girl has been playing around with the doctor’s kit ever since she discovered it among the stash of toys which the boys have.  The object of her current obsession is the stethoscope.  She loves to put the stethoscope to the chest of her brothers while pretending to listen to their heartbeat.  The stethoscope use to emit a lub dub sound when pressed but since the batteries ran out ( and I don’t know how to replace it) it has remained silent and up to the kids to add in the sound effects.
