Bonding Over the Weekend

During the weekend the kids and I  were at  West Coast plaza where we saw that there were free art and craft activities for kids. Kids under 12 were invited to take part in the activities. The kids got the chance to make their own personalized recycled bag using stencils for the paint on design.

All three of them chose the submarine design and were busy cutting out the design from the paper.  As Tiger girl and Doggie boy were not very good at cutting out the design so I helped them cut the design out while the organizers prepared the stencils for use.

After the design was stenciled onto bag the kids used the makers to decorate her bag.

I feel that it’s cool that there are such activities for the kids to try out in the malls during the weekend. During the weekdays we do not have much time to let them these activities so it’s great that they get to do so during the weekend.

Do they have such activities where you live?
