Cha Siew Bao
During our road trip to Malaysia we had Dim Sum for breakfast while we were in Kuantan. We saw that they offered Tim Sum for breakfast at the Chinese restaurant in the hotel we stayed in and tried it out.
Har Gao
This is one of the kids favourite item- Har Gao which is shrimp dumplings. Even Tiger girl wolfed down 2 of them by herself. She is really growing an appetite for Dim Sum.
Xiu Mai
Another regular item which we order when we have Dim Sum is Xiu Mai. These are filled with meat and decorated with fish roe on the top.
The food was not as fantastic as expected and I’ve tasted better Dim Sum in Singapore and Hong Kong. However, it was adequate to fill our tummies before we moved on for the day’s activities. Maybe I should try to make my own Dim sum for the kids one of these weekends.
Do you like Dim Sum too?

Dim Sum~ makes me salivate when I think of Li Bai’s dim sum… maybe I should arrange for an early dim sum breakfast on one of the Sunday.

My kids love dimsum as well. My 5 year old can finish 5 pork and shrimp dimsum all by himself. I love them myself! Whenever we visit a Chinese restaurant, or if we have extra money, My kids request it.

Me and my son love dimsum very much. We used to have these varieties every time we dine out. Haven’t gone to Malaysia though but it’s one of the destinations that I want to visit, as well. Hope we could try their dimsum there.
