Cactus Garden at Phuket Botanic Gardens
Cactus in a pot
During our visit to Phuket Botanic Garden there was part of the garden which was filled with various cactuses. The kids were fascinated to see these prickly plants and wanted to know more about them. They were fascinated to learn that there is water stored in the stems of the cactus and many people rely on the cactus as a source of nutrition while in the dessert.

I loved how rustic the enclosure looked with the rocks , status and cactus in place.

Wow, they are beautiful even with they’re full thorns. I remember my high school classmate who loves cactus. I saw his garden full of cactus and he gave one small one in an ice cream cup. It was so cute!

The last close up shot captures the beauty of various cacti. I just love those round ones, very cute balls but prickly as any cactus would be. 🙂
