[App Review] VeggieTales: The League of Incredible Vegetables
Last month the kids were thrilled when we got to review the latest App by Big Entertainment. VeggieTales: The League of Incredible Vegetables is the 2nd VeggieTales App that we had to review this year. Doggie boy couldn’t wait to get his hands on the iPad and try out the game.
In this game Doggie boyhad to help save the town of Bumblyburg from Dr Flurry’s minions. He had to choose a super-power for each League member . Only three League members were sent per mission.
The five superheros which you are to select three that will be in battle.
After each battle and before the next one you can use the money earned during battle to upgrade the weapons/ lifespan of the superheroes.
There are easy to use tap-and-drag controls power your favorite Veggie heroes through 28 challenging levels to collect Courage Coins that unlock 60 powers and upgrades to overcome fear! Just watch the app in action below.
My thoughts
This was a traditional good guy vs bad guy game. It was really entertaining for the kids. They loved watching the short video clips at the end after completing the whole mission and getting through all the 28 levels. The app makes a good time filler activity or for a short downtime for kids after returning home from school.
You can purchase this app from the iTunes Store. for $0.99 or from Amazon
Disclaimer: I received a promo code by the sponsor to redeem and try out the app for review purposes. Opinions are 100% my own. This post has a Compensation Level of 1 and 3. Please visit Dominique’s Disclosure page for more information.

How much in-app purchasing do you have to do in order to complete all of the levels? The game costs $1.99 in the app store currently, but it sounds from some other reviews there like that only gets you to level 3 out of 28. Is that true?

@Suzanne,
I’m not sure as we were given a promo code to redeem and try out the app. I don’t think it is true as we manage to get true to all the levels and the boys did finish the game after a few weeks.
