This week’s theme is on Purple. It’s not a common colour and quite hard to find. However here are some snapshots I have in that colour. I love the deep shade of purple. The colour is really makes the ambience of a room really romantic.

What lovely purple flowers, but then again purple is my favorite color! =D
Personally, I prefer nice cozy socks to keep my feet toasty warm. Of course, wearing thicker socks may not work too well with my tennis shoes, but as long as the socks aren’t compressed too much to do their job properly then I’m okay with skipping the boots. Besides, we rarely have need for boots. Now that being said, we’ll have more snow this winter than any other year. lol
I stay indoors a lot period. When I do causal errands around town, the only extra layering I will do is wear a fleece vest. I’m not into heavy coats or jackets at all for hopping to store-to-store. However, if I’m in the mountains for the day and I know we’re going to be taking extensive walks then I want to make sure I have my fleece lined jacket, fleece line gloves, and ooo what do you call that band thingy that keeps your ears warm? Yeah, ear warmer headband! Hey, it’s early here. =D
Cold weather…I mean really nasty bitter cold temperature and me don’t get along too well. I don’t like the extremes at all and much prefer weather conditions were mild. But, winter is coming so I better brace myself for some dipping temperatures and pull out all o f my nice fleecey warm things.

Beautiful pictures to bless my eyes on my birthday. We do not have very cold winters in Jamaica but one has to have a sweater when it gets cold. Of course so many persons in foreign countries laugh at what I call cold!:) Take care and have a good weekend.

Lots of pretty purple!
I usually wear thermal socks with snow boots when going out to shovel snow.
For cold weather, my favorite thing to do is layer – that way if I’m somewhere it’s too warm, I can peel off layers as needed.

The purple and yellow/mango colors in the 2nd shoot are amazing!! As for winter ~ we are in southeastern Virginia so depends from year to year what I need/like for winter! Love warm thermal socks for sure – prefer them over boots any day! And I love a big warm, soft scarf around my neck and I love the removable “finger top” gloves – they are wonderful!!

You know, I am into both! When I am inside, I wear thermal socks – I actually don’t have any, but I do have some of those fuzzy thick socks. My kids got them for me a few Christmases ago and I love them. I got more last year.
I need boots and I need lots of blankets, I need warm things. I don’t have enough sweaters, but working on collecting some more.

We don’t really have extreme cold weather here but I have this warm pink fleece jacket that I wear on layovers.
