Admiring the Sunset

Taken at Mt Faber

Taken at Mt Faber

A few weeks back when I was attending the Philips Avance Air Fryer launch I managed to witness a magnificent sunset.  It has been a long time since I had the opportunity to stand and admire the surroundings.

The color of the sky changed quite a bit during the 10-15 minutes where I took to walk up the slope to Jewel box from the carpark.  You can see how orange the sky was when the sun was setting.

It would be great if R was there with me to enjoy the view that day. Unfortunately  it was a working event for me and he had to stay home and take care of the kids. Maybe one of the weekends if we do get the chance to have a couple weekend we could go up to Jewel box for drinks instead.

Do you love watching the sunset too?

Playing with Chopsticks

It can be quite trying keeping kids occupied while waiting for food to be served in a restaurant. The few minutes waiting for the food can seem like eternity to a young kid. They get all fidgety  after awhile and  will request for gadgets to occupy them. If gadgets are not available the kids would use whatever is on the table to play with.

Chopsticks are the kids chosen item out of all the different cutlery to play with while waiting for food to be served.

Some ways they are used.

– as drum sticks hitting on plates and bowls and even the table for create “music”

– as props for photo taking

– to form different alphabets with

– as a makeshift pile of pick up sticks
