P52{ True Love} and Poetic Winter Challenge {Passion}

This week is the week for love and passion as we celebrated Valentines Day. Love songs, romantic dedication and gifts were aplenty.

Here are some pictures of my true loves and things that I am passionate about.

Valentines Day present for R- Self baked chocolate coated heart shaped  cake with  strawberries.

How can you not love them even though they can drive you mad at times.

Especially when they bring you this handmade present from Doggie boy for Valentine’s Day.

What’s True Love to you?

P52- {Drink up} and Poetic Winter Challenge-{Warmth}

It has been a rather freezing few days over in Taiwan. The weather started turning colder after we arrived and it went down to a really cold 11 degrees. The icy winds really send chills down your spine. It has really been a long time since I have experienced such a cold. Luckily there were many tasty warm drinks to drive the chills away.

A hot mug of coffee for the hubs.

A pot of apple and chrysanthemum tea which was absolutely refreshing.

Chinese Tea

Traditional Chinese Tea served at meals in a Chinese restaurant.

What’s your favourite “Keep Warm” drink?

P52-Shadows and Poetic Winter Challenge- Solitude

This week I’m combing two different photography challenges P52(Shadows) and  Winter  Photo Challenge Solitude).  I took the shot above around midday.   The shadow of the lone plant even though  there were two pots of plants on that corridor.

The shadows from Tiger girl’s feet and she trying to get out the lone packet of  Pretz which was left in the  ziplock bag. The kids love snacking on Pretz and they finish it up pretty fast.

This shot ended up a bit blurry as Tiger girl kept on moving. I wanted to capture her shadowy silhouette but it didn’t turn out as well as expected. She was the only one willing to be on camera as her brothers left to play with their new remote control car with their dad.

What’s your take on shadows in relation to solitude?
