Tiger girl has always been fond of Pororo. It is one of her favourite cartoon characters which she watches on Disney Junior on television. She was thrilled when she saw the picture of Pororo and friends printed on the packet of yakult when we were at the supermarket.
The perfect snack with the perfect drink. Pororo imprinted cookies with yakult. It made a great after dinner snack.
Mandarin Orange Ice Cream
Ice cream is the perfect snack to have anytime of the day. Care for some orange ice-cream?
Sashimi and yoghurt
While Tiger girl had her overdose of Pororo R and I feasted on Sashimi and fruity yoghurt drinks. The sashimi was really fresh and half the price compared to the prices in Singapore. There were also flavoured yoghurt which I couldn’t find in Singapore. The one that we bought was a packet of three and had the flavours- blueberry, apple and cranberry.
I do hope that we be able to have such flavoured yoghurt in our supermarkets. I would certainly love to continue drinking it here.
Besides Kimchi and Pickles the main dishes in Korean food are also very tasty. During our week long holiday in Korea we managed to try a few of their traditional dishes. I had been craving for ginseng chicken since I have been introduced to it a couple years back. During our last trip to Korea last year we managed to have this dish several times during our holiday. However this dish seems to be rather exclusive over at Jeju island. I only found one store selling ginseng chicken at the food court we went to next to our hotel.
Spicy BBQ Pork
We opted for pork instead of beef at this restaurant which was part of our 1 day tour of Jeju island. It was really yummy and I had the chance to personally cook my own lunch
Another local dish BBQ pork which is non spicy. I didn’t really like this one as there was a thick layer of fat on some pieces as it was fatty meat. The roasted garlic tasted yummy though.
Which out of the three dishes would you have love to eat?
