P52-Shadows and Poetic Winter Challenge- Solitude
This week I’m combing two different photography challenges P52(Shadows) and Winter Photo Challenge Solitude). I took the shot above around midday. The shadow of the lone plant even though there were two pots of plants on that corridor.
The shadows from Tiger girl’s feet and she trying to get out the lone packet of Pretz which was left in the ziplock bag. The kids love snacking on Pretz and they finish it up pretty fast.
This shot ended up a bit blurry as Tiger girl kept on moving. I wanted to capture her shadowy silhouette but it didn’t turn out as well as expected. She was the only one willing to be on camera as her brothers left to play with their new remote control car with their dad.
What’s your take on shadows in relation to solitude?

I’m going to be going for the Poetic Winter challenge too! I’m just glad none of the themes are about frost or cold!

@Little Macaroon,
great to hear that you too are going for that challenge. I’m also get there is no frost or cold or else I will have to double up with ice-cubes or ice kachang just to get the “Effect”.

I’m not sure I understand the question, but I think shadow doesn’t relate too much to solitude. You can be anywhere in solitude if this is what you wish.
Ie. in the sun room alone..
Love the pics and glad she was willing to be your photographee 🙂

@Jamerican Spice,
Shadow’s and solitude may not be that related.. just trying to tie in the two for the seperate photo challenges which fall on the same day 🙂 Hope you have a great weekend.

Dominique, I’m so glad that you joined us for our winter photo challenge! I love that first shot. I find shadows to be calming and intriguing. My almost 3yo looked at these photos with me and at the last shot she said, “pretty baby, cute baby, pretty dress”. lol
Thanks so much for joining us in the Poetic Winter Photo Challenge. I hope you remembered to grab the free texture over at my place! Next week’s theme will be Warmth. Have a great weekend. 🙂

Ever since I got my new camera for my birthday I’ve been experimenting, and reading the directions, and I still don’t know everything it can do. So we’ll see. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.
