Random Blooms- Photographed on Vacation
A Hibiscus
Every time I travel with the kids I take the opportunity to snap some pictures with my camera of my favourite subject – flowers.
Waterlilies in a pond
For this shot I had to zoom all the way in to be able to capture a clear shot of the blooms in the water. I love how the light bounced off the water and illuminated the flowers in the pond.
A light pink bloom
I spotted this bloom on a tree. It was a really lovely shade of pink don’t you think? I think it would certainly look nice floating in a glass bowl.
Pink and yellow blooms
Tiger girl spotted this cluster of mini blooms in the garden while we were waiting for a table at a restaurant we wanted to try for lunch. It was really interesting to see the combination of colors on a flower.
A bee on the daisy
This was a bonus for us. We spotted this bee buzzing among the Daisies and I zoomed in for a capture.

Hari OM
OH yes, always!!! The ‘Bollywood’ miniblooms are of a rather invasive shrub called Lantana; very pretty but now a noxious weed in Australia and some other parts. Beauty is beauty though, and these demonstrate that well. YAM xx

Very beautiful pictures. Between the contrast, the colors, the blur and the focus I can’t determine which one I like the most.
Happy WW!!

I like that style of your photos. How do you do that? Yung pa-blurry sa likod and really focused on the subject?

I love all the photos you shared in this blog post! Are you by any chance a professional photographer? I really admire people who can take beautiful photos. I hope I could be a good photographer too but all I can handle is a point and shoot digital compact camera.

@Ma Rozelle ,
I’m working my way to be a professional photographer if possible. Am still learning how to use my entry level DSLR since I got it 2 years ago. Haven’t really had the time to really pursue this hobby of mine and I hope to do so when the kids get older 🙂 Thanks for the compliments on my photos 🙂
