Happy 8th Birthday Doggie Boy

Oreo Chocolate Cheesecake
Last weekend my little boy turned 8 yrs old. Time has really flew pass. Now at 8 yrs old he is able to do quite a lot for himself independently.

Monkey boy and Doggie boy
This year his attempted to bake his own birthday cake with my help. Doggie boy loves eating Oreo cheesecakes and we decided that we would bake a Oreo Chocolate cheesecake together.

Doggie boy having fun at the playground
After eating his Oreo Chocolate Cheesecake for breakfast we headed for the playground for some fun with his siblings.

Having his birthday lunch at a restaurant.
The kids were famish after their morning play and I brought them out for lunch at Streets cafe. They were happily drawing in their notebooks while waiting for the food to be served.
After lunch it was off to the pool again for more fun play at the wave pool and water slides.

I’m impressed. I’ve never made any kind of cheesecake before but it looks like your son did a fabulous job. Happy 8th birthday to him!

My son used to celebrate his birthday with the cartoon characters he loved during that period. Maybe next year, we will have a simple Avengers party.

Looks like your son had a very happy birthday. Don’t blink, they grow up so fast. My daughter’s 16th birthday is next month, it seems like she was 8 just yesterday.

Happy Birthday. My middle daughter turned 15 on the weekend. She is rather small for her age and I’m finding it hard to believe next year she will be 16.

I am at the point that I don’t really do the party thing for their birthdays (My daughter will be 19 and my son is 17), it is more like a dinner.

Happy Birthday! Nice to involve kids in cake making. I wish my Mom allowed me in the kitchen when I was younger. Maybe I’d have more skills in the kitchen now. haha

Maybe next time my eldest daughter will want to bake her own cake. Uh-oh! I am not into baking! As early as now, she wants to bake something. One time, she baked chocolate chip cookies with my mom, who loves baking.
