Happy Birthday Monkey Boy
My eldest Monkey boy turns 8yr old today. A lot has changed since he was born on 5th March 2004. With his arrival we were finally a family an not just a married couple. Being the first born we were inexperienced and learned a lot through trial and error about taking care of kids. It has been a fun yet time as a parent and since his arrival have found it easier to take care of Doggie boy and Tiger girl who came into our family after him.
This year he requested for an Aeroplane cake and to have lunch at his favourite Japanese restaurant. Hence the cake cutting at the Japanese restaurant.
This week I feel it fitting to chose a Happy Birthday song to share with all of you.
1. What is on your bedside table?
You sure you would like to know? Okay here’s what’s on my beside table – diapers, wet wipes, breast pads, kids bibles and tissue paper.
2. Hardback, Paperback or E-Reader?
It is a toss between Paperback and E-Reader. However nowadays I read more on E-Reader as most books that I get for review are digital copies.
3. What is your ‘go to’ drink of choice?
Milk
4. How do you like to spend your birthday?
With my family
5. Finish this sentence – I would never be caught dead in .
wearing 8 inch high shoes. Anything more then 4-5 inches besides platform shoes are a real no-no for me.

Time flies. Seems like yesterday we were chatting away in the forum as new mom and attending the baby gathering……

Happy Birthday Monkey Boy! I’m with you on high shoes, but 3 inch heels are pretty much my max!

I can’t even get away with 4-5 inch heels that often. Flats have become my shoes of choice!!!

Awwww! Happy Birthday to Monkey Boy! Time flies by way too fast, doesn’t it? Perfect song choice! 🙂

8-inch heels….how much is that again? I’m sure my phone has a convertion app…. yes, there…. That’s 20 centimeters!!! Can anyone wear that? If I ever tried I’d end up dead, or at least badly hurt. I’d better make sure not to try this in a place were I wouldn’t be caught dead…
I can do 7,5 cm (3 inches on a GOOD day) 🙂

Send along my Happy Birthday wishes as well! As a guy, I just can not imagine wearing any heels larger than a half inch. I guess we are wusses as a species.
