5 Sumptous Dishes on a Friday
Chicken Satay
We ate a lot of different foods while on holiday in Malaysia. Here is a sampling of what had during one of our lunches. For starters we had chicken satay. It is one of the kids favourite local dish. They can easily wolf down a dozen sticks among the three of them.
Steamed fish
We seldom order the whole fish steamed as it will be a bit too much for the five of us to finish. However as we were with the whole family so we took the opportunity to order a greater variety of food.
Fried Omelette
The kids love eating eggs so an Omelette was one of the dishes which we ordered that day.
Claypot Tofu
Tiger girl loves to eat Tofu. We ordered this dish as it came with a variety of vegetables. The other tofu dishes were either fried or served uncooked which didn’t seem very healthy for kids.
Ice Kachang
A cool dessert for a hot day. It was a refreshing after lunch treat that the kids and me shared.
What have you been eating this week?

I am going to confess to some good and some not so good.
The good stuff is that I usual;y have raw chocolate with fruit and yoghurt for breakfast – a great way to start the day. Then it may go downhill.
We have chickens so has a yummy totilla with onions, potatoes & chorizo – although I am mainly meat free there are some things I just love – chorizo being one.
And naughty Jaffa cakes – that’s it confession over!

This post makes me realize that nothing I ate this week looks as good as your pictures. Sigh. I should probably take that as a sign to eat better. (: Thanks for linking to PSF and GMYBS this week!

Those are yummy dishes. The chicken satay makes me really hungry. I have been trying to cut off my calorie intake. Hopefully I can getaway from rice. Haha.
