{Book Review} 300 Sensational Soup

Are you into soups? Do your kids love drinking soup too? This is certainly the book for you!!
300 Sensational Soups by Carla Snyder & Meredith Deeds has a whole list of soups which you can try out.
You can choose from a selection of the following types of soups
- Chilled soups
- Fresh from the Gardens
- Bean soups
- Cheesy soups
- Hearty Meaty Soups
- Chicken & Tuurkey Soups
- Fish and Shellfish Soups
- Chowders
- Dessert Soups
I love the selection of international soups and some of my favourite chowders which I have been yearning to make at home for the kids. Each recipe also includes tips and techniques along with garnishing ideas. As well, there are many creative variations and serving suggestions. There are also really eye catching and mouthwatering pictures of the different soups in between the pages which really wheat my appetite.

The kids loved eating Broccoli and I was thrilled to find a Broccoli, Bacon and Cheddar Chowder recipe within the book. It wasn’t too difficult to make and we had the soup for dinner.
I will be trying the different soups in the book in time to come and certainly recommend this book to a Soup lover.
With 300 recipes to choose from, ranging from everyday fare to elegant dishes for entertaining, 300 Sensational Soups offers home chefs a perfect bowl of soup every time.

For a month during my pregnancy, I only ate clam chowder soup and veggie soup because that was the only thing I could eat without throwing up. This is a nice book to have in hand for sudden soup cravings.

The kids loving broccoli…now that is something. You’ve trained them well on eating the healthy foods. Hmmm I have yet to try the first one on the list, the chilled soups. I always think of soup as hot or at least warm.
