Weekend Reflections: Creating your Destiny

This week has been a really reflective one for me. I had been reading the book Design your own Destiny and been reflecting on my own life and the direction I have had been following. It has been slightly more then 2 yrs since I have been on NPL to be home with the kids. Even though I am very happy with the current arrangements I still think that there are certain areas in my life that needs further adjustment.
My focus has always been on the kids and family and now I’m realigning it to spend more time focusing on areas within me that needs further development. There are still days which I feel that I SHOULD have done much more and am unsatisfied at the rate of progress of projects which I am working on.
There is still some imbalance in the spirituality and physical department. I’m need to deepen my relationship with GOD and also really do something about the weight loss which has stagnant since June. I also feel that it is time that I do some adjustments to my own life goals. It is also time for me to teach Monkey boy on how to work on his life goals too.
Even though he is only eight at the moment I feel that he too should learn how to create his own life goals and work towards them too.
Are you creating your own Destiny too?

Well, I sure hope I am making my own destiny too, even though I also believe in fate sometimes. And yes, I think kids have the power to set goals and fulfill them too!

I belive in both! Destiny and fate. We create our own destiny but sometimes fate happens so we could to learn more lessons in life.

I believe that God has destined something for me. It’s just up to me to follow His will until His great plan for me is fulfilled.

I hope you get to fulfill the destiny you created for yourself.

Sometimes, I don’t believe that we are the one who made our destiny. We are destined to what we are but we can control different things. I know that there are always a reason for everything.

yes we are making our own destiny but of course that’s with the guidance of the Master of all!

totally agree! Destiny is earned. We create our own destiny..but some people foolishly think that destiny falls by it’s own.

Being an adult, I must say, is the hardest. We need to create our goals for destiny and fate. Good luck to yours. 🙂
