Bearful Bear by Anna Lee Everhart
Bearful Bear and His New Moves by Anna Lee Everhart is a fun children’s story book to read to your kids. The book is about an active bear who loves to romp around. One day while romping around in the forest he started wondering how the other animals move. He wanted to learn how to jump, hop, fly or even gallop.
With the help of his friends he learned how to jump, hop, fly, gallop, roll and swim. He also got his grove back.
My thoughts
I find this book a great action book for kids The rhythm and rhyme is wonderful introduction to phonics. Children can imitate movements on each page and be equally active as bear is in the story. I love the colorful illustrations in the book as they made it easy for the child to visualize the various new moves that Bear has learned throughout the story.

looks like a good story for kids, especially those kids who are active like the bear. 🙂

I wonder how do you choose a book for your kids?
I don’t have a kid yet but I’ve always thought of a mini-library for them in the future.
I’m thinking of the classics children’s stories but that’s for when they are a bit older.
When they’re toddlers though, I’m not sure what kind of books to buy :/

@Lady,
It depends on age. For the youngest I go by themes or items I would like to focus on and board book for more durability. For the elder one I choose what they are interested in and throw in some classics, some informative books and some popular books.
