P52 -{A Great Leap}
2012 is turning out to be a interesting year. Even though only 2 months out of 12 has passed I have seen quite a stark change in the kids.
One of the biggest change is that Tiger girl is now self feeding. She can’t wait to use her set of spoon and bowl like a regular “big kid” and refuses to let me feed her during meals. Even though at 17 months old I still feel that she is not really that ready to use both the spoon and fork on her own but I have let her have her way as it will certainly make her more independent.

Have you or your kids made any great leaps recently?

Oh yes…that can be a hard {and messy} stage. Hope it goes well!

Look how big Tiger Girl is getting! And cuter by the day. 🙂
Princess Nagger is growing up too fast – she’s already in tween mode in attitude though not there in age yet. 😉

She is ADORABLE. I’m always amazed at how kids practically grow over night. I wish mine would slow down already!
Thanks for linking to PSF and GMYBS this week!

I love these pictures. She looks so determined to do it herself on the left and so happy on the right.

I wish. They’re both grown and living at home 🙂

That’s good. You can have a relax time and enjoy your meal during meal time

@Shook,
I really hope so..she does drop her bowl or get food tossed on the floor while self-feeding so I still need to keep an eye on her.

Till now, my hubby still put big construction paper under the dinning table where my boys’ seat are to catch the food they drop on the floor, esp the elder boy.
