Yesterday Doggie boy had a blast as we celebrated his 5th birthday with his classmates. He wanted an Angry Bird Theme for his cake this year and I made one for him. The cake was a hit with the kids and they were fussing over who gets to eat the birds after the cake has been cut.
I’m glad that the birthday boy enjoyed his cake and had fun celebrating his birthday with his classmates. We will be having another party for him this weekend and I’ve yet to bake another cake for him to cut!!

My Questions this week
1) How do you celebrate your kid(s) birthday?
2) Do they have “special requests” for their birthday?

The little one gets the most attention. She is four. last July we had a small, family only gathering. I like to go all out for their little bds because it goes by so fast. When she turns 5, we will have a big part again. The older kids don’t care to have parties, and they don’t even ask for anything.
That cake is so special. I can’t even begin to describe it to the baker. I think I would have to bring your photo.

What a terrific cake! So fun! My kids plan their own parties…decor, lunch, games revolving around their chosen theme…they think that is the fun of the party!

What a great cake. My boys love Angry birds, we made and shared some cupcakes this year at Bacon Time, angry bird style. Happy holidays.
