Here’s the 2nd installment of 50 Questions for Finding your Bliss
- Which is worse, when a good friend moves away, or losing touch with a good friend who lives right near you?
Loosing touch with a good friend who lives right near is certainly worse as you do have the opportunity to maintain your relationship but haven’t done so.
- What are you most grateful for?
Being able to stay home with the kids and having a loving family.
- Would you rather lose all of your old memories, or never be able to make new ones?I wouldn’t chose either as I feel that life should be a mixture of both old and new memories.
- Is is possible to know the truth without challenging it first?
It depends on the circumstances at hand. It maybe possible to know the truth outright.
- Has your greatest fear ever come true?Hmm.. I haven’t really figured out what my greatest fear is yet so I assume it hasn’t come true.
- Do you remember that time 5 years ago when you were extremely upset? Does it really matter now?
No I don’t and it doesn’t matter now.
- What is your happiest childhood memory? What makes it so special?
It has to be spending time with my family on holidays. Being able to visit new places and try out new thing made it special for me.
- At what time in your recent past have you felt most passionate and alive?It would be doing sports with the kids. It feels great to get some action going.
- If not now, then when?It depends on the issue at hand. If it’s concerning an issue which would affect the whole family then a lot of planning would need to be done and a date scheduled in the future.
- If you haven’t achieved it yet, what do you have to lose?
If I haven’t achieved it yet.. the only thing I would have lost is the satisfaction of achievement. - Have you ever been with someone, said nothing, and walked away feeling like you just had the best conversation ever?Yes.When I’m with GOD as we can talk without saying any words.
- Why do religions that support love cause so many wars?
I think it’s because the people in the religion are either fanatics or really misinterpret the teachings of the religion.
- Is it possible to know, without a doubt, what is good and what is evil? Yes, it’s definitely possible.
- If you just won a million dollars, would you quit your job?No. It’s impossible to quit my job as a Mom but the money would surely come in handy.
- Would you rather have less work to do, or more work you actually enjoy doing?I would seek a balance. It is great to do work that I actually enjoy but a break now and then to keep sane has to be scheduled.
- Do you feel like you’ve lived this day a hundred times before? No. Each and everyday brings new challenges to me.
- When was the last time you marched into the dark with only the soft glow of an idea you strongly believed in?
That would be when we decided on having a 3rd child.
- If you knew that everyone you know was going to die tomorrow, who would you visit today?
I would visit my parents. It would be great to spend time with the family.
- Would you be willing to reduce your life expectancy by 10 years to become extremely attractive or famous? Definitely No. Both doesn’t appeal to me.
- What is the difference between being alive and truly living?Being alive is just following through with the necessary motions while truly living is savoring the moments which you have in life.
- When is it time to stop calculating risk and rewards, and just go ahead and do what you know is right?When your gut tells you that it’s the right thing to do.
- If we learn from our mistakes, why are we always so afraid to make a mistake?It’s because we have been scared or instutionalized into thinking that it’s bad to even have a mistake.
- What would you do differently if you knew nobody would judge you?
Nothing. I don’t bother about other people’s judgement. Only GOD’s matters.
- When was the last time you noticed the sound of your own breathing?
When I had my little girl fall asleep on my chest.
- What do you love? Have any of your recent actions openly expressed this love?I love my family. I kiss each one of them before they go to bed.
- In 5 years from now,will you remember what you did yesterday? What about the day before that? Or the day before that?
I seriously doubt so unless it is so life changing for me.
- Decisions are being made right now. The question is: Are you making them for yourself, or are you letting others make them for you?
I’m making the decisions myself.
