Here’s the 2nd installment of 50 Questions for Finding your Bliss

  1. Which is worse, when a good friend moves away, or losing touch with a good friend who lives right near you?
    Loosing touch with a good friend  who lives right near is certainly worse as you do have the opportunity to maintain your relationship but haven’t done so.

  2. What are you most grateful for?
    Being able to stay home with the kids and having a loving family.

  3. Would you rather lose all of your old memories, or never be able to make new ones?I wouldn’t chose either as I feel that life should be a mixture of both old and new memories.

  4. Is is possible to know the truth without challenging it first?
     It depends on the circumstances at hand.  It maybe possible to know the truth outright.

  5. Has your greatest fear ever come true?Hmm.. I haven’t really figured out what my greatest fear is yet so I assume it hasn’t come true.

  6. Do you remember that time 5 years ago when you were extremely upset?  Does it really matter now?
    No I don’t and it doesn’t matter now.

  7. What is your happiest childhood memory?  What makes it so special?
    It has to be spending time with my family on holidays. Being able to visit new places and try out new thing made it special for me.

  8. At what time in your recent past have you felt most passionate and alive?It would be doing sports with the kids. It feels great to get some action going.
  9. If not now, then when?It depends on the issue at hand. If it’s concerning an issue which would affect the whole family then a lot of planning would need to be done and a date scheduled in the future.

  10. If you haven’t achieved it yet, what do you have to lose?
    If I haven’t achieved it yet.. the only thing I would have lost is the satisfaction of achievement.
  11. Have you ever been with someone, said nothing, and walked away feeling like you just had the best conversation ever?Yes.When I’m with GOD as we can talk without saying any words.

  12. Why do religions that support love cause so many wars?
     I think it’s because the people in the religion are either fanatics or really misinterpret the teachings of the religion.

  13. Is it possible to know, without a doubt, what is good and what is evil?  Yes, it’s definitely possible.
  14. If you just won a million dollars, would you quit your job?No. It’s impossible to quit my job as a Mom but the money would surely come in handy.

  15. Would you rather have less work to do, or more work you actually enjoy doing?I would seek a balance. It is great to do work that I actually enjoy but a break now and then to keep sane has to be scheduled.

  16. Do you feel like you’ve lived this day a hundred times before?  No. Each and everyday brings new challenges to me.
  17. When was the last time you marched into the dark with only the soft glow of an idea you strongly believed in?
    That would be when we decided on having a 3rd child.

  18. If you knew that everyone you know was going to die tomorrow, who would you visit today?
    I would visit my parents. It would be great to spend time with the family.

  19. Would you be willing to reduce your life expectancy by 10 years to become extremely attractive or famous? Definitely No. Both doesn’t appeal to me.
  20. What is the difference between being alive and truly living?Being alive is just following through with the necessary motions while truly living is savoring the moments which you have in life.
  21. When is it time to stop calculating risk and rewards, and just go ahead and do what you know is right?When your gut tells you that it’s the right thing to do.

  22. If we learn from our mistakes, why are we always so afraid to make a mistake?It’s because we have been scared or instutionalized into thinking that it’s bad to even have a mistake.

  23. What would you do differently if you knew nobody would judge you?

    Nothing. I don’t bother about other people’s judgement. Only GOD’s matters.

  24. When was the last time you noticed the sound of your own breathing?
    When I had my little girl fall asleep on my chest.

  25. What do you love?  Have any of your recent actions openly expressed this love?I love my family. I kiss each one of them before they go to bed.

  26. In 5 years from now,will you remember what you did yesterday?  What about the day before that?  Or the day before that?
     I seriously doubt so unless it is so life changing for me.

  27. Decisions are being made right now.  The question is:  Are you making them for yourself, or are you letting others make them for you?
    I’m making the decisions myself.

50 Questions for Finding your Bliss- Part One

I saw this over at The Organic Blonde  a few weeks ago and decided to give it a try.

  1. How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?
    I would be 18. Legally old enough to go out and have some fun.

  2. Which is worse, failing or never trying? Never trying.

  3. If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do?
    This is a tough one to answer. I guess it all boils down to being responsible and not having the choice to do otherwise.
  4. When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?
    I guess not. I’m one who would take action if I have said that I would do it. Just that it may take longer for certain tasks to be completed.

  5. What is the one thing you’d most like to change about the world?

    Greed. It has caused the downfall of many and tortured many others indirectly. 

  6. If happiness was the national currency, what kind of work would make you rich?

    My current job as a multi-tasking mom would certainly make me rich. In fact I should be on the multi-millionaire list by now. 🙂 

  7. Are you doing what you believe in, or are you settling for what you are doing?
    I’m certainly doing what I’m believe in.
  8. If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently?
    It would have kids earlier on so that I can spend the maximum number of years taking care and grooming them.

  9. To what degree have you actually controlled the course your life has taken?I have set a plan since I was young and actively work towards my goals with an action strategy.

  10. Are you more worried about doing things right, or doing the right things?I’m not worried about neither. It would be great to be able to do things right the first time but there is no need to get stress and fuss over it if it doesn’t happen.


  11. You’re having lunch with three people you respect and admire.  They all start criticizing a close friend of yours, not knowing she is your friend.  The criticism is distasteful and unjustified.  What do you do? I would not join in the conversation as I strongly feel against gossiping about others. I would also tell them it’s not nice to talk bad about her behind her back.


  12. If you could offer a newborn child only one piece of advice, what would it be? I would tell the child to believe in himself.

  13. Would you break the law to save a loved one?No.  Nobody is above the law.

     

  14. Have you ever seen insanity where you later saw creativity?
    No. It has never happened to me before. I do know of creative people who later became insane.

  15. What’s something you know you do differently than most people?
    I am left handed and write with my left hand. 

  16. How come the things that make you happy don’t make everyone happy?
    I guess everyone definition of happiness differs so that it’s no surprise what I makes me happy may not be what makes them happy. 

  17. What one thing have you not done that you really want to do?
    I want to take up a baking diploma course and learn how to be a professional baker.

  18. Are you holding onto something you need to let go of?
     Not really. I’ve managed to let go of most of my grudges and baggage which I used to have.

  19. If you had to move to a state or country besides the one you currently live in, where would you move and why?
     I would like to move to Japan as I love the Japanese culture and food.

  20. Do you push the elevator button more than once?  Do you really believe it makes the elevator faster? 

    No I don’t. I don’t believe pushing the button more then once would make the elevator move faster.

  21. Would you rather be a worried genius or a joyful simpleton? A joyful simpleton. 
  22. Why are you, you? 

    I’m the way I am due to the experiences that I have had so far since birth up to today.

  23. Have you been the kind of friend you want as a friend? 

    I guess so.. I am one who others can rely on and be there in time of need to share in joys and sorrows.
