Mom Tip Tuesday- Housetraining your Kids

I recently saw this meme- Mom Tip Tuesday and decided to join in this week.
I personally feel that teaching kids to help out at home should start from young. It is only through constant practice that they develop the habit of helping out at home. I let my boys help with the vacuuming and cleaning since they were young as you can see from the video above.
By treating housework like a fun game they do not feel it is a “dread” to carry out the activities and it really helps me keep the house clean and lightens my load.
What your toddler/kid can be taught to
- Vacuum the floor
- Put their clothes in the laundry basket after they change .
- Place the full laundry basket in the laundry room and load up the washing machine
- Pack their school bags.
- Place their cutlery/utensils in the sink after use.
- Help to placed folded laundry into their cupboard.
- Pack and stow away their toys after play
- Store away groceries after each grocery run.

Thanks for joining in this week! All good ideas. I mean, they should totally vacuum the floor since it wouldn’t be all crummy if they weren’t crumming it up all the time, right!
