Top 10 Highlights of May 2014
Tiger girl on the swing
May was certainly a month full of action for us. We spent a lot of time outdoors on the weekend at the different parks as R was in town.
Doggie boy playing pool
Even though it was examinations period for the boys they too had their time off studying. They enjoyed a fun game of pool when we visited Pasir Ris Park.
Pink blooms along the roadside
It has been awhile since I last took my DSLR out on a photo walk. While out on a couple date with R, I managed to capture this roadside bloom on the way to Resort world, Sentosa for lunch before out appointment at iFly.
Our Mother’s day ice-cream cake
May was the month we celebrated Mother’s day and what better way to celebrate it then with a tribute to my 2 mothers and ice-cream cake.

Tiger girl in the pool
This little girl certainly has loads of energy. She and her brothers wear me out daily with their antics. Even though it hasn’t been really smooth sailing handling these three active kids I have learned quite a bit since becoming a mom more then 10 years ago.
With the experiences that I have gathered I wrote my Survival tips for a Stay at home mom and how to remain sane this summer.

Tiger girl and me
As I’m mainly the one behind the camera I seldom get the chance to take photographs together with the kids. Now with me new dual camera phone I’m able to take more selfies with them and aim to take photos with them more regularly.
Tiger girl reading in bed with her nightlight
I’ve started adjusting tiger girl’s sleeping pattern now that she will be turning four sleep. We are moving her out of our room and into her own. With her new Minnie Mouse nightlight hopefully the transition will be smooth for her and it will be a painless experience for all.

Tiger girl having fun on the slide
Getting regular exercise with the kids is something that I am trying to do. This year one of my goals is to bring them to the playground and park more often so that everyone is able to keep fit and healthy.

At the CNBlue concert with my girlfriends
May really rocked for me as my girlfriends and I attended our favourite group’s concert right here at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. CNBlue really left everyone feeling an all time high with their rendition of their top hits. What would be ultimate would be if we have the chance to watch their concert live in Korea. That would be next on our bucket list.

Monkey boy posing for the camera
It has been two months since I started my series on Parenting with Less Stress. This month I gave an update on how Monkey boy has fared using Positive Affirmation. I will be giving an update on Doggie boy too in the coming weeks.

Tiger girl doing her activity book on the flight
May was a month of new challenges and the biggest challenge I have had to date was to travel solo with the kids overseas. R couldn’t fly back in time so we decided to fly separately and meet up at our chosen destination to spend our mid year holidays together.
The kids and I survived the flight and maybe next time we may even fly to further destinations on holiday together.
How was your May?
