Writer’s Workshop: A Thanksgiving Message

my family

There are many things which I am grateful for this Thanksgiving.   Most of all I’m thankful that GOD has bestowed so many gifts upon me and he is looking out for me all the time.

I am thankful that

  1. Everyone in the family is healthy. Even though the kids do come down with the cough and cold now and then but it’s part and parcel of them growing up.
  2. I have a roof over my head and food on the table.
  3. I am able to work from home and be there for the kids this year.
  4. I am surrounded by family and friends who have my best interest at heart.
  5. I am able to pursue my passions and hobbies.
  6. The kids are happy and are enjoying their childhood.
  7. I get to travel several times a year to different places with the family.
  8. My dreams and goals for this year has all but come true . ( All came true if you discount the weight lost goal which I am STILL working on)

What are you thankful for?

Writer’s Workshop: Year end Bucket List

Xmas TreeIt will be Christmas in about a month’s time. There is still lots of things which I have yet to get done. We do not have winter here but I am going to list down the things I would like to complete during these “winter” months.

  1. Do up the library at home and rearrange all the books we have in the house.
  2. Lose that excess 5kg  weight and get back to ideal.
  3. Do up my 2013 blogging calendar.
  4. Draft out the syllabus for teaching the kids Japanese next year.
  5. Set up new schedules for everyone in the family for 2013.
  6. Bake bread
  7. Plan for a year end couple holiday

Do you have a year end /winter bucket list?

What would be on your list?
