The balance of white and colour play a vital role in setting the tone of the picture. With a glance you are able to tell what place and whether the food there will be affordable or pricey.
The angle which the light touches the plate and the placement of the cake does a lot to enhance the photograph taken. Through processing the photo with the lomo and vignette effect in Picasa it helped to “jazz up” the photo.
