Chilling out by Embracing Music and Arts

musical instruments

It has been said that art and music compliment each other.

It is hard to have one without the other.

During our trip to Korea last month we came across some interesting musical and artistic expressions. I love how they decorated the frame to this set of bells.

Tiger

This has to be one of the cutest  musical instrument that I have seen. You play it by using a stick and scratching the ridges on the back of the tiger.  I’m certain that it would brighten up any musician’s day playing on it.

And if you do get too tired or hot playing on the instruments what better way to cool down by tucking in to this plate of yummy waffle ice cream.

If this snack is not for you then maybe you would consider  resting on one of these fancy chairs like Monkey boy did.

Or maybe do it Tiger girl style lazing in the pram.

How do you chill out?

Writer’s Workshop: How Difficult it is to be an Adult

Tiger girl

Being an adult is not an easy thing to do. There are many decisions to make which not only impact you lives but the lives of those around you. You, yourself  are responsible for your actions  and there is no one else to take the blame for you.

Here is a list of  7 worst things about being an adult

  1. Having to work to earn money so that you can pay off bills.
  2. Not having enough sleep and still having to function even when not physically fit.
  3. Having to solve your own problems and the kids problems. You are also suppose to have the answers to all the kids questions.
  4. You have to make sure that the house is kept and everyone is fed.
  5. You are responsible for the kids that you and the  hubs created.
  6. Having to act mature especially around the kids. It is not acceptable to throw tantrums and expect everything to fall into place because of it.
  7. No one tells you how difficult it is to get back into shape after childbirth. It’s a constant struggle to look as good as you were when you were a teenager.

What difficulties do you face as an adult?

Would you prefer being an adult or  remain a child?
