Indoor and Outdoor Fun on a Friday

tiger girl at the pool
Last weekend after the outing to Pollywogs the kids were still full of energy. They requested to go swimming at the club as there were many fun water slides which they could go on. Tiger girl was at the children’s pool as she loves splashing around and trying out the ride there. The boys went with their dad to the wave pool and the other slides.

The kids were starving after the swim and we took a  tea break at a nearby joint for some luncheon meat sandwiches.

Spending time at the pool was not enough for the kids and they requested to go to the arcade next after their snack.  As you can see Tiger girl is very into driving and cars like her elder brothers.

The slide

After the arcade the kids wanted to check out this tree house slide at the outdoor playground near the place we were having dinner.  It’s about 3 stories high and the boys really enjoyed themselves sliding all the way down.

Tiger girl is too little to go sliding down that  high slide so she went sliding down these enormous bananas instead.

Do your kids run on lithium batteries too?

Writer’s Workshop: The Irritating Balls

balls

Thud!! Thud!! Thud!! and it rolls all over the floor. Ending up in the nooks and crannies around the house. If you are not careful and step on one be prepare to do the split in a second. This  sometimes solid or hollow sphere like object sends shivers down my spine when it appears in my living room.

I seriously don’t see what is so fascinating about them. The boys love throwing them and seeing them and bouncing off ground. I’m very fearful when they take out their balls to play as I do not wish  to hear a “crash” or “clack” if the ball hits and breaks the TV or the glass PC monitor. The potential damage which this little object could cause makes me insist that the boys take their balls to the room and only play within those four walls. What is it with guys and balls?

Do your kids love playing with balls too?

How do you make the play in their room and not mess up the house?
