SOC: Sprinkling Colour into your Life
The gods of Good Fortune (Fu), Prosperity (Lu), and Longevity (Shou).
As we usher in the Year of the Dragon I’m sure that everyone is looking forward to having Good Fortune, Prosperity and Longevity. Earlier on on the week when we went to the River HongBao display down at Marina Bay besides seeing the 12 zodiac animals and dragons on display we also saw many other exhibits like the one above.
The colourful birds on display made me think about how important it is to sprinkle colour into one’s life. It is up to us to lead meaningful lives. Having the right mindset coupled with determination and a plan has made the start of 2012 more exciting and interesting for me. Things are looking good and I’m very hopeful that I’ll be able to finish all that I have planned for the month. I’m going all out to enrich myself physically, mentally and spiritually. It will certainly be a life changing 2012.

Go, Dominique! =)
We had the Lion Dance today and the kids are all excited and oohed and aahed during the performance. They were all crowding around the guy in the God of Prosperity costume, because he was handing out chocolate coins!

I love it! I think I mentioned it last week but I’d love to be in an Asian country (China?) to celebrate the Chinese New Year. Looks like so much fun!

I would love to celebrate Chinese New Year even though I don’t really know much about it. I love all of the colorful photos. I’ve got some goals I really want to complete before summer gets here and I hope I do.
