Meet Me On Monday- Mother’s Day Edtion

mom card

Tiger Girl doing up a Mother’s Day card for me.

This year I had a rather quiet Mother’s Day celebration with the kids.  No flowers and no fancy meals.  There was no need to splurge on expensive meals of presents. Having the whole family together was good enough for me.  The good thing is that  R cooked dinner and washed up after that. It was great to take a rest from the kitchen.

How was your Mother’s Day celebrated?

Today I am sharing one of the latest song by Super Junior OPPA OPPA

1. For Mother’s Day I _________

had lunch with the family, my mom and my grandmother.

2. What is your favorite dish that your Mom makes?
My mother doesn’t really cook. I don’t have any favorite dishes which she cooks. However the kids do love the breaded chicken and Japanese food which I cook for them.

3. Who are you a “Mom” too?
A 20 month old Tiger girl, 5 yr old Doggie boy and 8 yr old Monkey Boy.

4. What did you have for Mother’s Day dinner?
R cooked spaghetti for the whole family.

5. What is your fondest memory of your Mom?
It would be her being around for us to talk to and play with when we were kids.

  1. Beautiful photo of your little one making her Mother’s Day Card.

    Have a good week

  2. Thanks for linking up! I enjoyed your music video you put up. Your darling daughter looks so precious. Your Mother’s Day sounds lovely. I’m like you, there is no need for fancy anything. That being said, my DH & DS treated me very special. We had a fun lunch of hamburgers which got to go from a restaurant I had been wanting to try for awhile. We sat in the car while it softly drizzed down the rain. It was a quiet, reflective, and I felt so appreciated by family. It would have been nice to see my darling daughters, but they called to wish me well and that was lovely. Have a good week, my friend!

  3. I love the picture of your daughter making her Mother’s day card!! She is so adorable!! Sounds like you had a great day!! Wishing you much love!

  4. Great shot of your daughter working on your card. I found you through Meet Me on Monday! Glad you had a good Mother’s Day.

  5. How special to have three generations to share Mother’s Day. Treasure those moments.

  6. Your daughter is obviously taking so much care with her special Mother’s Day card! My daughter made me one too – with a picture of us both in a submarine:)
I had a really quiet Mother’s Day – just spent the day at home with my two kids – we jumped on the trampoline with some balloons, then had races up to and around the big mango tree. It was fun:)
Thanks for sharing your day here,
    Kristina 🙂

  7. Fun dance pick! You got me jumping up and dancing!

My Mother’s Day was low-key too. Aren’t homemade card the best? I love the one your daughter made. We had everyone over for an early Sunday dinner. Spending times with family is truly the best gift.

  8. Well what a pretty little Mommy’s girl doing that for you. Ahhhhhh I remember when. Don’t get that much anymore unless it was from my granddaughters. Anyway it was nice that R made dinner for you that is fun taking a break. Love the show not sure about the song this time, but the entertainment was great as always. Thanks for playing along and have a great week.

  9. I think that it is the best gift for mother’s day when my children and my husband is with me. I don’t need any expensive presents or useless gifts, I just need to feel that they love me…
