Ruby Red Friday

This week’s theme for the photo challenge is on RED. Here are the shots that I managed to get that are in RED .
Ixora growing in bushes that align the path outside of the carpark.
Fire fighting equipment at the multi-storey carpark.
The Fire Hydrant outside.
My trusty diaper bag which I carry everywhere.
My questions this week
1) How do you work out indoors with little kids around?
2) What has been the most effective way you tried to lose weight?

Hi Dominique! Your first and third photos are classic symbols of Singapore for me! I love shots of “everyday red” (which we have to embrace without the traditional autumnal leaves!). Have a great weekend.

@Little macaroon,
thanks. hope you have a great weekend too.. I hope that the good weather holds for the weekend so we can bring the kids to the new park in Punggol.

You found some great examples of red, I love them.
There are no small children so it isn’t a problem. If I did I would probably teach them how to use the children’s garden tools and teach them to dig up weeds. You can’t learn these things too early.
When I want to lose a few pounds I eat apples as snacks and cut out red meat and all carbs. Lots of fruit and vegetables. And of course exercise, I like walking the paths around our parks.

LOVE all your representations of red! 🙂
I usually have to wait until the youngest one is taking a nap – which means I’ll end up not working out because by then my motivation has fizzled. 😉
I’m still trying to find the most effective way to lose weight… 😉
Have a great weekend, Dominique! 🙂

I use a step DVD and I can tell you it was challenging not to hit my 5 year old with my arms swinging around. Made the workout very difficult indeed. Now that she’s in kindergarten, I have my mornings to myself and doing my workout has never been easier 🙂
Happy Friday!

I LOVE RED!! It’s my fave color.
I usually find little chores for the kids while outside. They love to help or I tell them to play a game.
2. I’ve not tried to lose weight. I’m too skinny as it is 🙂 Good luck!
Aloha

Love that diaper bag. Beautiful.

You found a lot of red. :-0
Great question, I don’t know how anyone can do it. My SO and I had to take turns hanging out with our daughter so that the other one can exercise indoors. But that is only on the weekends. Weekdays I cannot exercise with T around when I was home.
The only time is when is goes to preschool classes.

I don’t work out or watch what I eat. I was blessed with good genes. 🙂

Oh my goodness, I love your diaper bag. And what unique shots! I love the fire hydrant and no parking sign. So cool!
Thanks for joining us in the Shades of Autumn Photo Challenge again this week. I hope you’ll be back next week when we move on to our new theme, purple! Have a great day. 🙂
